I just wanted to get St. Kate’s MLIS students a draft of my syllabus as soon as possible, so I thought I would just post it here. Here is a draft of my Fall 2013 LIS 7700 Management of Library & Information Centers syllabus. I am also attaching the context books list.

Great work. Especially loving the consultant assignment. Before libraries I used to have a consulting practice. I find that I am using my experiences in that world more and more in my daily work. I wish more library schools taught this course. Love the context books. As a suggestion, under leadership, you might want to consider Bad Leadership by Barbara Kellerman.
