My Alma Mater, Elmhurst College, wins ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award

My alma mater, Elmhurst College‘s A.C. Buehler Library wins the ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award.  As a former student, I cannot agree with the assessment more.  The librarians at this small liberal arts college work tirelessly to ensure student success, and student enjoyment.  As the ACRL indicates, “Buehler Library demonstrated an excellent program for outreach to classroom faculty and articulated the link between library planning and activities to the institution’s strategic plan,” Todaro noted. “The selection committee admired the integration of gaming into student engagement activities, along with the library’s focus on student development programs and services.”

My hats off to you Buehler Library

Sorry

Hey gang,

Sorry that I have been slow to post.  As you know, I started the new job today.  In the last 3 days I moved from Michigan to Illinois, started a new semester at school and started the new job today.  However, I have many great posts in my brain, I just need a week or two before I can write them.
